Wow. This is pretty cool. It's like I have my own personal piece of the magical Internet.
Where was I? The name's Randy Disher. I'm a lieutenant in the Crimes Against Persons section of the San Francisco Police Department. That means anything really big like murders, cases with important people, it all goes straight to me. My boss is Captain Leland Stottlemeyer, and although he can get kind of annoyed, he's a great guy. Though I wouldn't mind being called "Captain Randall Disher" someday. Not like I'm gonna knock off Captain Stottlemeyer. No way. Don't tell him I even brought that up, okay?
I work with Adrian Monk sometimes, too, and his assistant Sharona. Neither of them are as crazy as it looks, though she can totally get on my case sometimes. Then there's my mom, too. She's definitely weird, like that time she married the murderer guy, even though she didn't know he was a murderer, but she's my mom, and I love her.
Seems like everybody has a journal these days, and I said to myself, 'Randy, you've got a pretty interesting life - you're a cop, you're a hero, people like you, you should give this a shot.' So this is me giving this a shot. Lt. Randy Disher - the man behind the badge. Sounds cool, doesn't it?
[This journal exists for role-playing and writing purposes only. Randy Disher belongs to the awesomely fantastic Jason Gray-Stanford, as well as Andy Breckman, David Hoberman and the braintrust at USA's TV series Monk. I'm only borrowing Randy and will put him back when I'm done.]
